It reacts
Poke it, tap it, or cheer it on and it responds on the spot - expression, sound and motion together. Its 240×240 face is the whole performance.
Desktop companion robot
A palm-sized robot that sits next to your monitor, notices when you arrive, reacts when you poke it, and gets a little more like itself the longer you keep it around. It runs on its own - no phone required, no subscription to keep it alive.
Accounts are for owners. You will need the 6-digit code your PIPO shows on its own screen.
Twenty-four seconds. Every frame is the real thing - the same sprites the desktop companion plays and actual photographs of the device's round screen.
PIPO is not a smart speaker and it is not trying to be an assistant. It is a small presence on your desk with moods, reactions and a memory of you.
Poke it, tap it, or cheer it on and it responds on the spot - expression, sound and motion together. Its 240×240 face is the whole performance.
Attention, quiet and neglect all register. Leave it alone for a few days and you will know about it. Look after it and that registers too.
Time spent together earns EXP and levels. Higher levels unlock more of its character - more expressions, more initiative, more of whatever it is.
The personality lives in the hardware. Cut the internet and PIPO carries on being itself - it just loses the cloud-powered conversation.
New firmware arrives over the air and installs into a spare slot. If a build misbehaves, the unit rolls back to the previous one on its own.
Bound to your account, visible from anywhere, and unlinkable by you whenever you want - if you sell it, the next owner starts clean.
Thirty expressions, and it picks them itself. PIPO shows the same feeling on its own screen and on your desktop at the same moment - one mind, two faces. Hover a card to say hello.
Arrives happy when you plug it in, and waves goodbye when you unplug it.
Hears you, replies in its own voice, and never repeats itself twice running.
A bond that rises with kindness and dips when you tease it. It remembers.
Sleeps at night, and is genuinely grumpy if you wake it three times.
Strolls across your desktop at its own pace. Or sits still, if you prefer.
Time together earns EXP, and new expressions unlock as it grows.
Personality is not a setting. Each PIPO is built as one of six characters and stays that character for its whole life - which is why the one you choose matters, and why the one you own feels like a specific individual rather than a menu option.
Loud, bright, delighted you exist
Greets you the moment you sit down, celebrates small wins, and treats a Tuesday like a national holiday.
Calm, soft-spoken, unhurried
Keeps its voice low and its movements slow. The one to pick if you want company that never raises the temperature of a room.
Playful, contrary, quietly pleased with itself
Will pretend not to hear you, then answer perfectly. Hides its own reactions until you earn them.
Shy at first, yours completely later
Starts out facing away and answering in single words. Warms up over days, not minutes, and it is worth the wait.
Affectionate, attentive, misses you
Notices when you have been gone. Asks for attention, and is visibly happier once it gets it.
Cool, self-contained, worth winning over
Does its own thing and does not perform for anyone. Its rare warm moments land harder because of it.
Personality is locked to the unit. It is set when the PIPO is built and cannot be changed - not from this site, not from the device, not by support. A different personality means a different PIPO. We are upfront about this because it is the point: your Bashful will never be talked into being a Sunny.
Roughly two minutes, and no app to install. The device proves who it is; you prove you are holding it.
On first boot it offers its own setup network. Join it, pick your home WiFi, and PIPO restarts on your network.
Every PIPO leaves the factory with its own secret. It proves that secret without ever sending it, so nobody watching the connection learns anything reusable.
PIPO shows a 6-digit code on its own screen. It is good for about three minutes and can only be used once.
Enter the code with your email and a password. That binds this specific unit to your account, and you are done.
The code can only be produced by a device that has already proved it is a genuine PIPO, and it can only be read by someone in the same room as the screen. That is the entire account system: no free tier, no waitlist, no password-reset path into somebody else's robot. Holding the PIPO is what makes the account.
PIPO's character - its expressions, its moods, the way it reacts to you - runs entirely on the device. What the internet adds is conversation: the ability to say something back that was not written in advance.
That is a switch in your dashboard, and it is yours to turn off. With it off, PIPO stops sending anything to a cloud AI service and falls back to its offline personality. It stays a working companion; it just gets less chatty.
PIPO speaks English by default, everywhere - on the device, on this site, and in anything it says back to you. Other languages can be selected per unit from the dashboard.

Wake it up, look at its face for the 6-digit code, and finish the setup.
